Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning

Formerly known as the USA TODAY Charitable Foundation (USATCF), the Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning (FILL) is a 501(c)(3) that became a supporting organization to the International Literacy Association (ILA) in June 2015.

FILL currently manages several legacy programs provided by donors Panasonic North America and the Novak Family Foundation.

The Panasonic Student Eco Citizenship Project guides students in grades 4-8 as they both explore environmental issues with lessons encouraging reading and writing and discover what impact they can have through project-based learning.

Lead4Change (formerly Lead2Feed) is a student leadership program with a service-learning component encouraging middle school and high school students to address a need in their school or community. This program is aligned to national literacy standards as well as social-emotional learning standards.

Lead4Change is the fastest growing free leadership program in the United States. Since its launch in 2012, it has attracted more than 1.5 million students in schools and clubs across all 50 states.

FILL is a sponsor of ILA's Children's Rights to Read initiative.
