For the Press/Media
Thank you for your interest in attending the International Literacy Association (ILA) 2020 Conference, which takes place October 15–18, 2020, in Columbus, OH. Please see the requirements below and contact press@reading.org to apply for credentials or ask questions.
Requirements for ILA media credentials
- Print, online, television, and radio journalists must submit or present valid press credentials from their media outlet, editor, or local government.
- Freelance journalists must show proof of an editorial assignment from a well-established print or online publication.
- Bloggers and other journalists without formal press credentials must authenticate their status by providing links to their blogs or media outlets. Only bloggers and other journalists representing well-established outlets will be considered.
Deadline for requests
Advanced credential deadline is Friday, October 9, 2020.
Press badges
Press badges for credentialed media can be picked up at Registration. Registered media are required to wear press badges during their attendance at the ILA 2020 Conference.

Interview requests may be made in advance by emailing press@reading.org.
