There's Still Time to Register for Summer PD!

Thanks to all who submitted program proposals for the ILA 2017 Conference & Exhibits. All ILA 2017 presenters have been notified. We encourage you to apply again next year if you were not selected.

Presenters: We look forward to seeing you at ILA 2017! You should have already received your schedule via e-mail, but if for some reason you haven't, please e-mail for more info. You'll find everything else you need to prepare for your sessions below.

Before the conference

  • Make sure to register for the Conference & Exhibits and don't forget to book your hotel. (All presenters are required to register for the conference; single-day rates are available.)
  • Determine what AV equipment you'll need for your presentation. Review our AV tips for information about equipment and adaptors. All rooms come with the following: one wired lavaliere microphone, a podium, an LCD projector, a screen, and sound equipment. Mac users: Don't forget your adaptors! If you have more extensive AV needs, please download and submit this form to order additional equipment at your own expense. Lock in the best rates by ordering equipment by June 21.
  • Promote your session by sharing details with your contacts via e-mail and social media. Make sure to tag your posts with #ILA17! You can also add the official ILA 2017 presenter badge to your website and blog by copying the HTML code below and pasting it into your text editor of choice.

  • Upload your handouts any time before the end of the conference. Once the ILA 2017 Conference & Exhibits app is live, you'll receive an e-mail from Core-Apps (our app provider) with instructions on how to upload your session handouts. You can also use the app to find other ILA 2017 sessions you'd like to attend.


  • Visit the Speaker Ready Room (W306A in the Orange County Convention Center) to prepare for your session, discuss details with copresenters, review materials, test AV, and relax for a few minutes before presenting. We'll post the Speaker Ready Room hours on-site.
