Transportation

Flying within the United States

Beginning October 1, 2021, every air traveler who is 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, state-issued enhanced driver's license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States. Check out the Transportation Security Administration's site for details about your state.

Flying internationally

Although there are new document requirements for flying within the United States, your passport will still work normally for international travel. If you have any questions about necessary travel documents, please check with your country’s embassy.

Airport and ground transportation

The John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is located six miles east of the city and is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Once you land, there are many quick and easy transportation options to take you to the convention center or nearby hotels as well as back to the airport when it's time to go home. You can also check with your hotel to see if they provide shuttle service to and from the airport.

Driving

Driving to ILA 2020? Use the convention center's directions and parking to plan your trip.

ILA shuttle buses

ILA provides complimentary shuttle service between most official ILA 2020 Conference hotels and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Schedules will be available on the ILA 2020 Conference app, on-site, and in the lobbies of hotels on the official scheduled route. Our official hotel list identifies which locations are on the shuttle route.

If you need a wheelchair lift, please call the phone number listed on the bus schedule flier (available in hotel lobbies) at least 60 minutes before your desired departure time to ensure we can fully accommodate your needs.
