The International Literacy Association (ILA) Outstanding Article Award: The Reading Teacher honors an outstanding article published in The Reading Teacher that significantly advances literacy practices for children up to age 12. The recognized work should demonstrate innovative approaches, actionable strategies, or insightful research that directly impacts classroom instruction and supports educators in fostering foundational literacy skills, critical thinking, and a love for reading in young learners.
This award will not be offered in 2027.
