Membership Options
As an ILA member, you'll get exclusive member benefits including ready-to-use resources, special discounts, and opportunities to participate in the ILA community. Memberships are renewed yearly, but you can save by joining for multiple years (and extend your access to resources that can help you become a more empowered educator). Choose from the following membership types:
- Online Membership ($44): Access all of ILA's resources online with the option to add online only journal subscriptions.
- Student Membership ($39): Online Membership benefits for students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (up to five years).
- Retired Membership ($39): Online Membership benefits for those who are fully retired and have been a member continuously for at least 10 years. (Please download and return this form to enroll.)
- Developing Economy Membership (Free): Online membership benefits for those who live in
countries with developing economies. When you join or renew, the "Developing Economy Membership" option will show based on your address. Questions? Please contact ILA Customer Service at customerservice@reading.org.

Access ILA
Thinking about subscribing to more than one journal? With Access ILA members can take advantage of this discounted journal subscription option. Access ILA subscribers receive online subscriptions to The Reading Teacher, Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, and Reading Research Quarterly, plus online access to the Reading Research Quarterly Library (a collection of archived RRQ articles from 1965 to 1995), at one discounted rate per year.
