Call for Editors: Reading Research Quarterly

Reading Research Quarterly (RRQ) is the premier international, peer-reviewed research journal. It publishes the highest quality research on reading and literacy for and by scholars around the world and fosters connections among researchers to build a coherent knowledge base in reading and literacy across geographic and intellectual borders.

From November 15, 2021, through January 10, 2022, the International Literacy Association (ILA) is accepting applications for editorship of RRQ

About the editorship

We are seeking forward-thinking scholars who are committed to the advancement of sound literacy research and its application to classroom instruction. Applicants have the option of applying as teams of two to five people; for teams of three or more individuals, one person must be identified as the senior editor with final decisional authority.

Editors serve for a term of four years, the first of which overlaps with the current editors’ term. The subsequent three years are spent adjudicating and providing material.
