 | Dec 21, 2011

The Educational Testing Service (ETS) released a new report entitled Positioning Young Black Boys for Educational Success. This report and ETS' June 2011 conference called “A Strong Start: Positioning Young Black Boys for Educational Success” are featured in the Fall 2011 issue of Policy Notes from the ETS Policy Information Center. The article focuses on addressing achievement gaps between Black males and other children. Drawing on statistical data and recent trends, the article outlines key issues and includes pillars of excellence, a call for public responsibility, and policy concerns.
